That's the first thing I learned from the 21 Day Fix. You need to dial in that nutrition so you don't undo all of your hard work in the gym.
On a daily basis I aim to follow the basic clean eating guide I learned on the 21 day fix.
It's important to me to supply my body with the fuel it needs to get through the day, and eating well and drinking Shakeology does just that.
I'm human, so sometimes I fall out of rhythm, and I don't beat myself up about it.
I just begin the next day determined to do better than the day before.

The thought that I was being expected to ONLY eat from this specific list of food that fit into small containers was crazy. How in the world could anyone be expected to do that without a private chef, and me with 2 kids and a bacon loving husband! Impossible!!!
For us, the grocery shopping gets done over the weekend. With both my husband and I working full time, Monday through Friday jobs, week nights are fast and furious. We have basically have 30 minutes once we get home to feed the kids before they implode, so there isn't time to think about "what's for dinner". You just have to have the plan, and hit the ground running.
Pintrest to the rescue! I found so many different dinners that were kid approved (and some not even adult approved). Bonus if the recipe came with the number of containers per serving. No additional thinking required!
I was kind of shocked how easy the whole process was. Once I got the fear of eating raw broccoli while my family dined on chicken alfredo out of my head, I realized how simple the plan actually was.
I just had to plan. No winging it for this girl, that always ended with a call to Pizza Joes!
